Welcome to The Waterfront Business Park, one of England's most exciting new Waterfront business locations.

The 23 hectare Waterfront business development area is located within a mile of the heart of Barrow town centre. It offers exciting new opportunities to grow your business, access a unique lifestyle, in a brand new marina village, the attractions of Barrow town centre and the nearby coastal /rural scenery,watersports opportunities and the world famous Lake District National Park.

By locating on The Waterfront you will also be able to attract highly skilled people to work for your company from the pool of labour that forms part of the area's near 100,000 population.

The 23 hectare Waterfront Business Park which has Outline planning consent adjoins the world class shipbuilder BAE SYSTEMS. It is in effect a southward extension of the highly successful Furness Business Park where over a thousand people are already employed.

Construction of stage one of the business park development now underway. Carillion are the contractor providing site services, access roads and development plots on the Ramsden Business Park, an 8.39 Ha high quality office and commercial development. The infrastructure project is being part funded by the Northwest Regional Development Agency and the European Regional Development Fund. The waterfront location can accomodate a mixture of B1 (5,030 m2), B2 (15,529 m2), and B8 (5,200 m2) development categories within a high quality landscaping area. A developer competition is underway.
