There are no Current Vacancies on the Waterfront as construction of phase one is completed.

Part Two - Jobs on The Waterfront (Existing Employers)
There are potentially a great number of job opportunities for your partner and family members in the Furness area particularily in Barrow the administrative and retail centre for south west Cumbria and surrounding Bay area, which is home to around 310,000 people.
Many of the permanent jobs with firms located or locating on The Waterfront which arre normally advertised in the local media, such as the
- Northwest Evening Mail (Monday and Thursday) (www.nwemail.co.uk) ,
- Westmorland Gazette (Friday) and
- The Advertiser (Thursday).
Vacancies are also advertised by Job Centre Plus in Job Centres in Millom, Ulverston and Barrow.
Recruitment agencies are another way of finding work.
The largest local recruitment drive underway is that for Baesystems which requires a range of engineering skills to help deliver new defence and submarine programmes.
